Fire Fee Program

“FIRE FEE EXEMPTIONS — The following shall be exempted from payment of the Fire Fee: Public Agencies — All federal and state agencies, public school districts, libraries, and the City of Elk Grove, City of Galt, and County of Sacramento will be exempt from the Fire Fee.”

“Once all criteria are met, fee credits may be taken against fees when payable at building permit issuance. Developers will be eligible for fee credits/reimbursements up to 100 percent of the Fire Fee, excluding the administration fee portion. To obtain fee credits, developers must apply to the CCSD before payment of fees.”
