A form is coming. Until it is here, this page says what each kind of report needs, so that when the form arrives nothing is a surprise.
1. Add a fee we’re missing. Needs a link to the document that sets it — a resolution, an ordinance, a code section or a fee schedule. A number without a document is a lead, not a fact, and cannot be published: every figure on this site is copied from the document that set it.
2. Fix an error. Needs the address of the page and a link to the document showing the correct figure. The useful form is “this should be X, here is the document that says so”, not “this looks wrong”.
3. Request a city or county. Name only — no document needed. This site covers 63 California jurisdictions today and grows one adopted schedule at a time.
4. A link is dead. The address of the page and which link. An archived copy of every document cited here is kept on file, so this is usually a one-line repair rather than a lost citation.
5. Ask a question. Anything else. An email address is optional on all five, and is only used to reply.
